The iconic brewer's star is our trademark and has been an important part of the history of the brewery ever since we were founded in 1878. The brewer's star harks back to the brewers' guild sign and, with its six corners, symbolises all the elements involved in brewing (fire, water, air) as well as the ingredients required (malt, hops, water). It therefore represents the brewer's craft and our beers. The person on the brewer's star stands for our employees and the fantastic work they do. Their passion and enthusiasm take our brewery a step ahead every day. And you can taste the difference, in each of our drinks.
